Some people were talking about it at work. I guess it blocks 50% of the fat from being absorbed, and instead sends it out of your system.
In turn, one of the "treatment effects" (I suppose that's a nice name for side effect) are loose stools, and...get this..."oily gas". If you eat more than the reccommended amount of fat per day, THAT'S what can happen.
HUH?! I was a little disturbed by this. Oily farts? Gross!

As soon as I saw your post I knew I had to mention the "oily gas," but I see you've done that already. That alone is reason enough to leave it on the shelf.

Basically, as far as I understand it, it makes the fat globules you digest to large to be absorbed into your system so they pass through you. The byproduct has got to be horrifying.
