Hello -
I am a little freak out but happy at the same time. You see today I am going off of my birth control I have been on depo for over 5 years. And the great thing was having no period. We are not ready at all for a baby. But they say it's good to be off the depo for at least a year befor trying. I am just a little freak out about how my body is going to feel. Have any of you been on depo and went off? If so how did you feel? For now we will be playing it safe.
Anna

Depo for me was an eternal hellish damnation. I swear, it's the devil in silico.
But I hope it goes well for you!

If you DON'T mind the chance of pregnancy and want your hormones back to normal as soon as possible, I'd suggest taking some Agnus Cactus Berry, aka Vitex. It's an herb that naturally balances your hormones and can be found at any GNC or store like it. It has no known adverse side effects. However, it IS a fertility herb, so make sure you don't mind being pregnant- and you cannot take it with birth control (because it'd render it useless).
I took Vitex for over a year to help me with my acne before I was on BC. It took about 3-6 months to see great improvement, but I've read that it can work in as little as 3 weeks to stabilize hormones. There's tons of info out there about it. Google it if you're interested.
